Justin and I submitted a proposal to create a 3 Cattails sculpture for one of the three public art commissions. We were surprised to heard that the selection committee wanted two set of cattails; a large one on the North end of the apartment complex and another smaller one on the South end.

I am often stopped at the red light facing the Library on Central and 22nd street. I day I was imagining the small cattails gracing that corner, so I made these rendering and sent them to the library director. It doesn't hurt to ask. He's looking into it.
