Lighting Grasses: Flood Lamps White Light
Early considerations of seedpod color. Plus trying to find a programmable LED Flood Lamp.

This is when we knew lighting would be an important part of this public art project.

The color you see here is colored PLA. We were trying to determine whether to use white seedpods, silver ones or a mixer of colors. We are fairly committed to white.

We are considering painting them, maybe a reflective paint. I heard they could be chromed, however I’m not sure how long them would last.

Here is the tall grasses in an early stage being lit with just two white light flood lamps.

Here is the set of 4 lamps I bought:

LED Flood Light Outdoor, 300W Equivalent 3000LM Smart RGB Landscape Lighting with APP Control, DIY Scenes – Timing – Warm White 2700K – Color Changing Uplight, IP66 Waterproof US Plug MELPO(4 Pack)

I do not have images yet of these lamps and the Grasses.
